Amazon deforestation reaches its highest level

In Brazil, since the election of President Bolsonaro, Amazonian deforestation has increased considerably. Indeed, it would have reached its highest level in 12 years and thus increased by 9.5% according to the Brazilian government. President Bolsonaro is accused because he has not respected the laws that were written a few years ago to slow down deforestation and thus global warming. He even told farmers, miners and land grabbers not to hesitate to clear the forest. The Amazon rainforest is the lung of the planet, indeed it is the one that produces the most CO2 and is in the hands of a leader for whom global warming is not a preocupation. Some leaders such as Emmanuel Macron (France) have strongly criticized the decisions of Bolsonaro who makes no effort to slow down deforestation.

La deforestation amazonienne attend son plus haut niveau

Au Brésil, depuis l’élection du président Bolsonaro, la déforestation amazonienne a considérablement augmenté. En effet, il aurait atteint son plus haut niveau en 12 ans et aurait ainsi augmenté de 9,5% selon le gouvernement brésilien. Le président Bolsonaro est accusé parce qu’il n’a pas respecté les lois qui ont été rédigées il y a quelques années pour ralentir la déforestation et donc le réchauffement climatique. Il a même dit aux agriculteurs, aux mineurs et aux accapareurs de terres de ne pas hésiter à défricher la forêt. La forêt amazonienne est le poumon de la planète, en effet c’est celle qui produit le plus de CO2 et elle est entre les mains d’un leader pour qui le réchauffement climatique n’est pas une préocupation. Certains dirigeants comme Emmanuel Macron (France) ont vivement critiqué les décisions de Bolsonaro qui ne fait aucun effort pour ralentir
